Uplift is an incredible organization providing food, clothing and other supplies to the houseless community. They are out multiple nights per week visiting homeless camps to offer support. PRCKC will be following their routes on Wednesday evenings to offer support to houseless pet owners. We will be able to distribute food and other resources as well as discuss vaccination and spay/neuter surgery support with pet owners.
Volunteers will pick up the PRCKC van at 5:30pm on Wednesday evenings and meet the Uplift trucks at 6pm downtown to head out. Shifts may run until 9pm-10pm depending on how many individuals need support.
