Looking for a way to brighten the day for seniors? Join our team of Bingo volunteers! Bingo is a beloved activity at Lyngblomsten, bringing laughter, social interaction, and a chance to win prizes.
As a Bingo volunteer you'll:
- Assist residents who use wheelchairs as they go to and from Bingo.
- Help residents with their Bingo cards during the game.
- Hand out prizes and create a fun, engaging atmosphere.
Volunteer commitment:
You can volunteer for as many or few sessions as you'd like.
Additional information:
- New volunteers will attend an orientation.
- A Department of Human Services background study with fingerprinting is required (standard for working with vulnerable individuals).

Description
Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.

REQUIREMENTS
- Background Check
- Must be at least 13
- Orientation or Training
- 1.5 - 2 hours per session. Typically takes place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Also Friday afternoons twice a month.
- Application and DHS background screen. Must be vaccinated for COVID and wear a mask while indoors.
