NoSilence NoViolence is looking for dependable, engaging, creative and detail oriented volunteers to help with social media and communications.

Social Media & Communication Volunteers will:

  • Assist with social media postings
  • Develop content for Facebook & Instagram
  • Engage with our social media audience through comment response, messaging, etc.
  • Email correspondence such as Newsletter, Year-end letter, etc.
  • Utilizing Canva create flyers and other collateral for meetings, education events, fundraisers, etc.
  • Assist in researching and gathering information for blog creation (currently every other month)
  • Update editorial calendar ensuring all communications & social media volunteers are working to the same deadlines
  • Maintain record of hours volunteered


Skils Required:
- Responsiveness, strong writing and creativity. Understanding of social media outlets - primarily FaceBook & Instagram.

Skills Preferred:
Social media and communications experience preferred, howeverwe will train the right candidate. Canva for creating postings, social media experience with both posting and writing but will train the right candidate.

Ongoing commitment with on average 4-5 hours a month
