Volunteer Notary with Hospice of the Western Reserve

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: VANTAGE Aging RSVP

Notary volunteers will notarize documents for hospice or palliative care patients. These could include things like:

  • Wills
  • Power of attorney or medical
  • Car title
  • Other documents that require notarization
Volunteers will service families without two non-family witnesses to witness some of these documents, or without means to go to a notary due to mobility or transportation issues or health condition.

This provides peace of mind to know that the patient's plans and final arrangements are in order while they still have the capacity to make the decisions on their own.
