The SCORE Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team works closely with the leadership team to shape and implement the DE&I strategy for the chapter. Key responsibilities of this role are to:

• Communicate with the Executive Committee to keep them abreast of new initiatives and developments within the National Diversity and Inclusion group,
• Assist the Chapter in developing Diversity and Inclusion goals and activities for the chapter
• Monitor progress and results through volunteer demographic data. Regularly communicates with chapter volunteers
• Participate in SCORE monthly conference calls with the Ambassadors and other champions throughout the US
• Organize and participate in Chapter Diversity and Inclusion events and activities

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team member role requirements are:

• A personable and good communicator with the ability to influence people
• An understanding and awareness of diversity and inclusion issues and best practices
• Be able to dedicate at least 2 hours of flexible time/week
