The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

We’re looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our growing team!

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct outreach calls to potential supporters, partners, and community members to build relationships and promote organizational initiatives
  • Manage and execute email campaigns to our contact list, including newsletters, promotional updates, and event invitations
  • Connect with key community groups such as parents, schools, study groups, and businesses to promote our platform and build partnerships
  • Assist in designing branding materials, including flyers, brochures, and digital assets, to effectively communicate our platform’s offerings
  • Engage with current supporters and stakeholders to strengthen relationships and encourage ongoing involvement
  • Implement strategies to recognize and appreciate the contributions of our partners

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in communications, outreach, or social media management is preferred
  • Experience in planning and executing events or campaigns, whether virtual or in-person
  • Experience with CRM systems or databases to track outreach efforts and manage contact lists
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to analyze engagement metrics and adapt strategies based on data insights
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Creative, proactive, and organized with a passion for community engagement and music education

Mission Statement

We strive to make fine art readily available to anyone who wishes to experience it, even when unable to do so financially. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) produces annual benefit concerts, shows, and performances. These experiences are open for all community members. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) exercises: artistic, comedic, and musical channels to bring soothing to children hospitals, hospices, shelters for the homeless, nursing homes, and various other entities full of people in need of assuagement. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) has partnered with The Donovan's Piano Room to host weekly online lessons to students who wish to learn music, music theory, sight-reading, and musical techniques, even when they can't afford to do so.

The Donovan's Venom INC. Gives its resources to individuals who don't have the means or access.
