About Help for Healthcare Professionals (HHCP):

Help for Healthcare Professionals, Inc. (HHCP) is a nurse-owned, registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities with health education and access to care. We support healthcare professionals and first responders across Georgia through crisis relief, education, and advocacy programs. As we continue to grow and scale our impact, we seek a dedicated Program Director to lead and oversee the implementation of our programs.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Program Director to join us as a volunteer. This role involves leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of HHCP’s programs to ensure they align with our mission and strategic goals. As Program Director, you will work closely with the leadership team, volunteers, and partners to manage our current programs and help expand our reach to support more healthcare professionals and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development and Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of HHCP’s programs, ensuring they are effective, impactful, and aligned with our mission.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies for expanding program offerings, enhancing program quality, and increasing community impact.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage program volunteers, providing them with the guidance and support needed to deliver high-quality services.
  • Partnership Building: Establish and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to support program goals and enhance service delivery.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement tools and processes to monitor program progress, collect data, and evaluate outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing program budgets, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on program activities, achievements, challenges, and impact for the leadership team, board members, and funders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in program management or nonprofit leadership, preferably within the healthcare, education, or community services sector.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in volunteer coordination or staff supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with partners, stakeholders, and community members.
  • Familiarity with program evaluation and data collection methods.
  • Passion for HHCP’s mission to support healthcare professionals and underserved communities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in the healthcare sector or with organizations focused on health education, mental health, or community advocacy.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit operations, grant management, or fundraising.
