Here’s what one of our volunteers has to say about volunteering with One Degree:

I like connecting people to information and other people and volunteering with One Degree allows me to provide that service! I’m inspired by all the hours fellow volunteers put in and like having the opportunity to work as a team in updating resources. I’ve really enjoyed learning about the opportunities listed in One Degree, especially arts and job training programs for youth.

As part of the Resource Management team, you will be updating our existing database of 22k community resources in the Bay Area and Los Angeles counties. This work is crucial to our commitment to provide up-to-date information for families and individuals that need community resources. • Compile data into a user-friendly excel spreadsheet.

  • Use Slack to communicate with the Volunteer team and stay informed on Volunteer program updates.

  • Attend a monthly virtual meeting to discuss volunteer work, hear One Degree updates, and any special announcements.
