At Capital City Hospice we strive to improve the quality of life for all our patients. We are currently seeking Pet Therapy Volunteers!
Pet Therapy is one of the many ways we seek to enhance the quality of patients lives who are experiencing a life limiting illness.
With the help of volunteers like you, our patients get a chance to visit with your licensed therapy pet when they are unable to have a pet of their own. It is a beautiful thing, to witness the joy that touching an animals fur and beholding the love in their eyes can bring to a patient!
Pet Therapy volunteers make friendly visits on their own schedules to provide much needed companionship from a furry friend.
