Capital City Hospice is looking for Peaceful Passing Volunteers. Peaceful Passing Volunteers are people who, like us, believe that no one should die alone. Peaceful Passing Volunteers are called upon to be present with patients as they prepare to pass on. Peaceful Passing volunteers know first hand the beauty and the gift of being loving and present.
Orientation, background check, TB test and drug screen are all required and provided.
Capital City Hospice Volunteers choose when, where and how much time to Volunteer.

Our hospices focus on improving the quality of life of all patients, allowing them to make the most of the time they have. The hospice benefit is designed for patients who have a life expectancy of approximately six months, and we work hard to provide exceptional physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to the patient, family and facilities involved form the beginning to the end of their hospice journey.

Queen, Capital, Miracle, and Day City Hospices are dedicated to providing patient-centered care and support to residents of the Greater Cincinnati, Greater Columbus, Greater Cleveland, and Greater Dayton areas in whatever place they call home.
