The Friends of the Library support group is looking for individuals to help collect and sort donated books from the loading dock. This group works mornings, starting at 8 a.m.
The volunteers will:
- Pick up or move boxes of books and load into bins and carts - MUST be able to lift and/or push up to 40 lbs.
- Sort books by genre, quality, value, etc. We will train you to recognize the quality and general value of various books.
- Be able to volunteer early morning - we begin at 8 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. A volunteer is always welcome to volunteer on all three days, but that is not necessary. One day per week is great.
- Work in a busy and friendly environment with other volunteers who support the library and who come from different backgrounds.
