The Alzheimer's Association recognizes caregivers, honors loved ones lost, and provides support and education to those facing the challenges of Alzheimer's disease and the community.
As a Walk to End Alzheimer's Committee Member, you can assist with planning the world's largest fundraiser to fight the disease on one of many levels. You may be involved in overall event planning, or you can assist with team retention, marketing, sponsorship procurement, or event-day experience execution!
*New members are welcome to join any time throughout the year. Committee meetings are held approximately once a month January - December. Subcommittees may meet separately as needed.

Description
The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. We have a variety of opportunities to offer volunteers throughout the state of Connecticut. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, as examples. Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic members of our team without whom we could not work towards an end to the Alzheimer's disease.
