Are you a good listener, creative and crafty? Can you take someone's life story and turn it into something tangible that their family can hold, touch, hear and/or see? Our hospice organization is in need of Legacy Project Volunteers to join our Legacy Project Team. Our Legacy Project Volunteers spend time getting to know our patients and their families and then come up with quick creative projects that are meaningful gifts that our patients can give to their families as a remembrance and a legacy for future generations. Projects can include writing or recording stories on paper, video tape recordings, compiling family cookbooks, writing letters and cards for different milestones, creating clay molds, and other project ideas. All Legacy Project supplies are paid for by our organization. Contact Rebekah Welch, Volunteer Coordinator, at 302-533-3800 or rebekahwelch@accentcare.com
