ORGANIZATION: Front Porch Community Services

Well Connected is a nationwide telephone and online program of group conversations, education, and support groups for older adults. Groups are facilitated by volunteers. We need engaging, passionate volunteers who want so share their expertise and group conversation skills in areas such as:

  • Arts/Creativity and Music
  • Science/Technology
  • Literature and Writing
  • Games/Hobbies
  • Philosophy/Spirituality/History
  • Languages
  • Travel

If you love to facilitate groups, connect and engage with others, or are passionate about sharing your expertise in a particular field, join us from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a telephone or online device, attend a one-hour training and commit to spending as much time that will work with your schedule. Well Connected offers programs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT every day of the year!

We empower individuals to live connected and fulfilled lives through our Community Services Division. Front Porch’s Community Services Division designs and administers 6 programs addressing 3 social problems affecting older adults: food insecurity, unstable housing, and isolation & loneliness.
