Are you looking for a satisfying but flexible volunteer opportunity? Peninsula Food Runners is a volunteer organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and reducing food waste since 2013! We invite you to join us. Peninsula Food Runner volunteers pick up excess food from participating Donors (restaurants, corporate cafeterias, etc.), and then deliver the food directly to our Recipients (shelters, affordable housing for families and the elderly, Boys and Girls Clubs, etc.).

We need weekday volunteers to help us deliver food in the Daly City, SSF, Millbrae, Brisbane, Colma, San Bruno and Pacifica area. Surplus food is available, but we have too few drivers on weekdays to transport the food to local non-profits which feed the hungry.
