Do you have 2 hours a month and live in the Austin area? If so, you can become a Hospice Volunteer!

We are needing Volunteers to visit with our patients in Austin. My goal is always to get a Volunteer going as soon as possible. As a result, you and I will set up your orientation that fits into your schedule right away!

Who our patients are: Individuals who have a life expectancy of 6 months or less - given their illness takes it's natural progression. And their loved ones.

Our Volunteers:

  • come with diverse backgrounds. This includes: walks of life, age, lifestyle, thoughts, careers, where they live
  • choose how often and where they want to volunteer
  • do not need any medical experience

How our Volunteers fit in to our team: Volunteers are "friendly visitors" who go in without an agenda and visit, or may provide a break for a caregiver.

Orientation is provided and is set around your busy schedule.
