Are you fluent in Tagalog and English? Do you have a passion for helping others and making a difference in your community? Join us as a volunteer Tagalog/English Translator at Maya's Hope!

Maya's Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned, impoverished, and special-needs children on a global scale. We are currently seeking a dedicated volunteer who can provide written translation in Tagalog and English within Facebook group chats.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct written translation of messages, announcements, and conversations between English and Tagalog within Facebook group chats.
• Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translation, maintaining the intended meaning and context.
• Assist in facilitating effective communication and understanding between members of the group.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both Tagalog and English, with excellent written communication skills in both languages.
• Ability to accurately convey meaning while maintaining cultural sensitivity and understanding.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality translations.
• Familiarity with Facebook and experience using Facebook group chat functionalities.
• Must be based in the United States.

Time Commitment:

This volunteer position requires a commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per week. The schedule can be flexible based on your availability.
