A busy non-profit office needs strong Operations Assistants who can provide administrative and logistical support. Operations Assistant volunteers keep the office running smoothly and provide a positive public impression of TIHAN. Organizational skill are required, along with the ability to make callers and visitors welcome. Office management experience is a plus! Technical skills are required, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook, as well as verbal and electronic communication, internet research skills, and management of spreadsheets and other electronic documents. Our Operations Assistants also greet visitors; answer calls on a multi-line phone, directing them to the proper person; and help keep office bathrooms and kitchen clean and neat.
The position is for at least one 4-hour shift each week (from 8:30am to 12:30pm, or 12:30pm to 4:30pm), but we also need on-call, fill-in volunteers.
