Maybury is an educational working farm located in Northville. We are open to the public April-October and offer educational tours to schools and preschools. Most tours are during the week in the morning. Docents will help our educational supervisor with the tours, no volunteers will do tours by themselves. Training is simple and short and will provide you with what you need to know. Help children learn about the farm animals, gardening, bees, or wildlife on the farm. This is a fun opportunity to be with children and share information all while being outside at the farm. We are looking for volunteers who are great at sharing information, love to interact with children, and enjoy being outside in the summer! Volunteers must be 18 years old to volunteer.
Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.
