Do you love cats? If you love cats and would like to interact with some on the weekends, this is a great opportunity. Candy's Cats keeps cats at the Petsmart Adoption Center at Winter Garden Village. On the weekends there are adoption events every Saturday from 12-3. We need volunteers to come into the store on the weekends to help with the adoption events. First is cleaning the adoption center while the cats are at the adoption event. There are litter boxes to be scooped, cubicles to be cleaned and sanitized, food and water that needs to be refreshed, and floors that need to be swept and mopped. The cleaning usually takes 2 hours and once complete, volunteers help with the adoption event and can entertain the cats and help with the event through closing.

This can be a recurring volunteer opportunity to earn community service hours.
