This holiday season let no one be alone. Little Brothers- Friends of the Elderly needs over 600 volunteers to share Christmas with San Francisco elderly who will be alone for the holidays. Volunteers deliver meals, flowers, and gifts to the elders and spend time visiting with them. Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly is a volunteer-based organization providing companionship, advocacy, and outreach to isolated elders in San Francisco. Description
Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) is committed to enriching the lives of lonely and isolated older adults in San Francisco. Virtually all of our services are carried out by individual volunteers; community, civic, and religious groups; and the business community. LBFE offers flexible and diverse volunteer opportunities, and volunteers can choose to make weekly, monthly, or seasonal time commitments.
