Sale Day Volunteer
Every second Saturday and Sunday of the month 65+ volunteers are needed to hold FOPAL's Book Sale. The sale is exciting full of fun customers looking for great deals on our amazing selection of book, cds & dvds. All proceeds go to our local library.

The Friends of the Palo Alto Library's/FOPAL book sales is one of the largest of its kind in the country. The money generated from the sale is donated to the public libraries. To date, FOPAL has donated over 3 million dollars.

Buyers come from miles around and even other cities. Everyone has a great time and about a quarter-million books, a year find new readers instead of going into landfills.

For FOPAL's monthly book sale, (2nd weekend of each month) we need cashiers, floor supervisors, and door monitors (meet hundreds of fellow bookaholics and experience the Thrill of the Marketplace!)
