Mission Statement
Yachad is a thriving global organization that helps all Jewish individuals with disabilities, and ensures their inclusion in every aspect of Jewish life. When we bring together Jewish people with all kinds of diverse abilities, they can claim their rightful place within the Jewish community; and we can help educate and inspire others toward greater understanding, acceptance, and outreach for people of all abilities and backgrounds
Description
Why Yachad? Because everyone belongs!
From our weekend social programs like sailing, karaoke, and horseback riding; to Shabbatons at various South Florida synagogues, our Sensitivity Workshops and High School Leadership Committees provide training to help community members learn how to interact with and appreciate Jewish people of all strengths and abilities.
Each year, Yachad Florida provides Summer Camp and Israel programs, Professional Education Conferences, parent and sibling support groups, and clinical services for our members. Our annual Mother's Day Brunch is a Gala-style event.
