We are a young, forward-thinking Hospice company serving all over Denton, Collin and Cook County. We can accommodate any volunteer living in the area. We understand the importance of fostering education. No skills necessary, we provide training. Trio hospice is looking for great volunteers to add to our dedicated team to support the needs of our staff, our patients and their loved ones. We offer patient/family volunteering, special event volunteering in our community, administrative/office support and remote volunteering. Whether you are looking for ways to give back to your community or wanting to step into healthcare and see if you are interested in it as a career choice, we are interested in hearing from you. As a hospice volunteer you will have the opportunity to bring meaningful interaction and support by providing some or all the following: Clerical support in the office Customer service Weekly calls or tuck calls to patients and families Interpreting Reading/writing Shopping, running errands Game and other activities Art therapy Music therapy Delivering supplies to patients Visiting with patients Helping host community events Light household chores or food preparation Sitting services while family run errands or other respite needs Dog walking Special skills (i.e. yard maintenance, musicians, beauticians, etc.) Bereavement support Remote volunteering Please contact us for more information and to learn how you can become a volunteer!
