The Ronald McDonald House offers dinner every evening to visiting families. Community members and groups have certain nights each week and month to bring dinner. At times this is not always available, so our staff and volunteers help provide these meals. You can help relive some of those costs by signing up to participate in our Share a Meal program. Dinners should feed approximately 25 people and can be homemade, prepared on-site, purchased pre-made from a store or restaurant or delivered to the Ronald McDonald House. Dinner is served around 6p.m. each night. Our Share a Meal program is an opportunity for our community to come alongside families in a time of need and show them how much they are cared for. The mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkoma is "to create, find and support programs that improve the health and well-being of children in Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma." One of the many ways we accomplish this is by providing a "home away from home" for families with children bring treated at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Here we are able to care for the patients family, allowing them to remain nearby while their child recovers. We provide snacks and drinks, shower and laundry facilities and a variety of relaxing and entertainment choices for families to enjoy. We also offer six overnight bedrooms to allow families to remain close while their child is being treated. All of this is at no cost to the families thanks to our generous donors. Please contact the Ronald McDonald House to check for available dates. 479-463-6760 rmhfay@rmhcofarkoma.org
