Mission Statement

Our Mission The mission of Trinity Hospice Care of Georgia Services is to honor life and offer compassion to individuals and their families when facing a life-limiting illness.

Description

Trinity Hospice serves more than 15 North Georgia Counties Providing Patient Focused, Exceptional Care. In our effort to provide the most exceptional care we can, we look to engage members of the community to facilitate personal connections at a trying time in family's lives. We seek out committed, compassionate volunteers to spend time with and celebrate our patients.

Trinity Hospice Care does not provide inpatient services, which means our team members go into personal care homes, assisted living facilities and patients' homes. We operate year-round except for holidays. Requests typically fall within business hours (M-F 9a-5p), but we have volunteers who prefer to go out on weekends as well. Staff is available 24/7 to address any needs that may arise. Our census averages 250 patients so we have a variety of opportunities. As might be imagined, our patient census can change so the number of opportunities can change. The duties of a volunteer with Trinity Hospice can vary, but the most common request is someone to simply spend time with our patients whether it be talking with them, reading, singing, playing a board game etc. We also celebrate each one of our patient's birthdays in person (if possible) and take immense pride in honoring our veteran patients for their service.
