Mission Statement
Angel Mounds State Historic Site is part of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Indiana State Museums and Historic Sites. It is one of 16 state museums and historic sites in Indiana. Angel Mounds State Historic Site's purpose is to educate the public about the site and the Native Americans who once lived there.
Description
Because Angel Mounds State Historic Site is only manned by a limited number of staff members, volunteers are always needed for the various special events and programs that go on at the site. If you are interested in volunteering for a specific event, please refer to the "Special Events" section of our website. If any of the events sound like something you would like to help out with, just email us and we will be more than happy to work with you. Keep in mind that some of the volunteer positions may require training before the event.
