Mission of Kate's Club: Kate’s Club empowers children and teens, their families, and young adults facing life after the death of a parent, sibling, caregiver or someone important to them. We work with grieving families, providing social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to help create a positive grief journey. Vision of Kate's Club: A world where it is okay to grieve. The Newnan Clubhouse hosts bi-monthly engagements for grieving children and caregivers. Newnan programming includes one Family Night each month along with one Clubhouse Sunday. The Newnan Family Night is hosted at a local community center & the Newnan Clubhouse Sunday is hosted at Corral, which is a local barn. We are looking for volunteers to help with both programming. Volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application & attend a New Volunteer Orientation to be eligible to participate. We are looking for volunteers to commit to at least one program each month.

The Albany Clubhouse hosts monthly engagements for grieving children and caregivers. Albany programming includes one Family Night each month at the Aspire Clubhouse in Albany. We are looking for volunteers to help with leading therapeutic activity programming with grieving families. Volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application & attend a New Volunteer Orientation to be eligible to participate. We are looking for volunteers to commit to joining every month if possible.

Mission of Kate's Club: To empower children and teens facing life after the death of someone close to them. Vision of Kate's Club: A world where it is okay to grieve. Kate's Club is looking for Buddy Volunteers to work directly with our grieving members. Buddy Volunteer responsibilities may include monitoring and supervising children, facilitating activities, offering emotional support and being a positive role model. Programs include many different experiential activities to help kids learn healthy coping strategies to help them manage the intense feelings surrounding their loss. Volunteers have to be 21 years old. Orientation & onboarding process includes a completed application, two references, a background screen, and New Volunteer Orientation. The Director of Clubhouse & Volunteer Services will email you details.
