Mission Statement

Mission Statement: The purpose of El Dorado County German Shepherd Rescue is to provide refuge and make ready for adoption, unwanted, abused, abandoned, or neglected German Shepherds, or GSD mixes as well as educate the public regarding animal welfare and the importance of spaying and neutering. German Shepherds which are unwanted or unable to be adopted by local animal control services are brought to our facility where they are spayed or neutered, fully vetted, rehabilitated and socialized in order to be adopted out, providing excellent companions. Our organization reaches out to the public through scout troops, elementary and high school students with a volunteer program and offers a community service program resulting in education on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets and exposure to the needed care of abandon animals.
