Snack Pack Creation

Help support Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire's Hospitality Cart Program by making snack packs! This opportunity is done off site and can be done at your home, work, church, or with any other group you choose! Our hospitality cart goes bed to bed at Memorial Healthcare's Children's Hospital bring snacks and activities to inpatient children and their families. You can help bring a smile to these families faces by creating snack packs! How to build a snack pack Gather your snacks by doing a donation drive or purchasing snacks Put three or four snack items in a clear bag If you feel like sharing some love add a note of encouragement! Drop the snack packs off at the House Please provide pre-packaged, individually wrapped food items. A few examples: Package of crackers Individual bags of chips Individual or fun size cookies Fruit snacks Package of mixed nuts Any other snacks you think could be fun to share with families!

Family Room Volunteer- Memorial Hospital

The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms are located in both Memorial University Medical Center. We are looking for volunteers who are great hostesses as the responsibilities would include maintaining a clean facility, checking families in who wish to visit and utilize the facility. This listing is for the Family Room located at Memorial Hospital. Hours are Sunday-Saturday from 9:00 am-6:00 pm. (3 Hour Shifts)

Family Room Volunteer- St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital

The Ronald McDonald Family Room located in St. Joseph/Candler Hospital is looking for volunteers to help maintain the facility. Responsibilities would include maintaining a clean facility, checking families in who wish to visit and utilize the facility. Hours are Sunday - Saturday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. (3 Hour Shifts)

Ronald McDonald House Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our House! Volunteer opportunities include assisting families and staff at the House. General office work (answering the door, phone, etc.) and a variety of tasks around the House such as answering the doors, replenishing supplies, inspecting rooms, as well as light housekeeping.

You can help support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire with members of your community or even from home! There are many ways to do this such as making crocheted or tied blankets, crocheting or knitting hats (Newborn-Adult sizes), collecting pop tabs, gathering items from our Wish List, and more! All items donated to the House must be new and unused. Blanket Making and Pillow Cases - Wrap families in love by making a Crochet, Knit, Quilt, or New-Sew Tie Blanket or sewing Pillowcases! Make one blanket or gather with friends to make many then drop them off at the House to be given as comfort items to families. Hats - Warm a families heart while keeping their head warm! Knit or Crochet hats for newborns all the way up to adults. Pop Tabs - Pull Together with family, friends and your community to collect pop tabs! Pop tabs can come from soda cans, energy drinks, soup cans, and any other can with a metallic tab. These tabs can be dropped off at the House 24/7 and then are recycled. Funds from this program come directly back to the house so we can continue supporting families. Wish List Items - Our wish list is a list of items that we currently need at the Ronald McDonald House. Any and all donations that are new and unused are greatly appreciated! Collect items individually or gather a group together to do a wish list drive! Currently our biggest needs are Glass Cleaner, Pledge, and Non- Latex Gloves. Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
