Mission Statement
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Savannah Area, Inc. believes that all debt is manageable and that anyone can live a debt free life. Every day, we strategically create effective debt management plans for each of our clients. We offer budget, credit, debt, bankruptcy, housing, identity theft prevention and foreclosure counseling regardless of, their ability to pay. Our purpose is to increase financial knowledge, help families solve current financial problems, and achieve future goals.
Description
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Savannah Area, Inc. (CCCS) has served 50 years as a non-profit providing financial education and counseling in the community. CCCS is one of the oldest nonprofit HUD-approved housing and budget counseling agencies in Savannah.
Since 1965, CCCS has assisted 177,927 clients by providing counseling and educational services. CCCS has also helped families from the coastal Georgia and South Carolina area repay $85,880,542.45 in debt.
It is CCCS’ mission to help families overcome financial challenges and regain a sense of financial well-being by offering professional and confidential counseling, debt management, housing counseling, mortgage help, foreclosure prevention, and consumer credit education to all segments of the community.
