Mission Statement

Project New Village is a California non-profit corporation and a 501(c)3 tax exempt charity. We envision Southeastern San Diego as a community that supports and contributes to the health and well-being of families. The mission of Project New Village is to collaborate with organizations and individuals to promote personal, community and communal wellness in Southeastern San Diego.

Description

Our organizational goals are:

  • To connect residents to real and relevant resources which aid in managing their own health, self sufficiency and well being and
  • To engage youth and adults of diverse backgrounds in wellness activities that benefit the community
We define community wellness or social wellness as being aware of, participating in, and feeling connected to your community. It means developing healthy relationships with those around you. Social wellness encourages contribution to the welfare of the community.
