Black Student Union

Mission Statement

The Black Student Union is the Student Government Agency that offers Black students a form a identity and a social life. The Black Student Union functions as a vehicle of communication to the faculty and administration of the Florida State University. The Black Student Union seeks to develop unity among Florida State students so that jointly and strongly they can express concerns and problems faced on campus. The Black Students Union attempts to create awareness to the total university. The Black Student Union will continue to remember the past, build on the present, and fight for the future. Through our future growth and development, we know the Black students will be understood. The Black Student Union is THE official voice and representative on issues concerning Black Students.
