Hospice Volunteers needed in Glendale, Peoria, and Deer Valley

We are in need of Volunteers in the Glendale,Peoria and Deer Valley areas who want to make a difference in someones life! ur patients and their families are in need of caring volunteers who will visit them in their homes, group homes or assisted living facilities. Volunteers are friendly visitors who can chat with the patient about current events or enjoy hearing about the patients life. Maybe read a book, newspaper, or magazine to them. Play cards or games, or watch a TV show or movie with the patient. This will provide a much needed break for their caregiver. Volunteers must be 18 or older. We will provide you with all of the training you need to be a successful volunteer! Dog Therapy volunteers needed for our hospice patients anywhere in the Phoenix Area

Our hospice has started a dog therapy program for our patients. If you have a trained dog and it is certified or you are willing to take the steps to have them certified. Then you maybe the person we are looking for to help us to grow this great service to our patients. We do not cover the cost of your dogs training or certification. But we cover all of the cost associated with your hospice training, background checks and TB Test. We have Senior Adults in the South Mountain area who are in need of companionship.Or their Caregivers could use a respite to run errands. As a volunteer you may play cards, read, watch TV or engage in conversation with them. We provide training and ongoing support to you! Our senior adults live in their own homes, group homes or nursing facilities in the South Mountain area. This is a rewarding time for both you and them. He will set up a time to meet you and answer any questions that you may have. All cost are covered by the hospice. Make a Difference in a Senior Adults Life In Casa Grande

Savior Hospice is seeking volunteers to make a difference in the lives of our hospice patients throughout the Valley.

Volunteers are friendly visitors who offer companionship to hospice patients and a much-needed break to their tired caregivers. Volunteers might read, watch TV or movies, listen to music, play cards or games, make a snack or assist with light housekeeping. They may chat about current events or reminisce about days gone by.

As little as an hour a week can make a BIG difference!

Training is FREE and can be done on your schedule.
