The helpful, healing process between man and beast is simply so good, it must be experienced. Whether human and dolphin, human and dog or, in this unique and very special case, a human being and an equine, a good, positive bond, interaction and visual, let alone tactile, secular miracle such as the interaction of a horse and person is literally indescribable. I am completely sound and and able bodied and an athlete and horses have changed my life in such a positive and wonderful way, I believe it will be the same for everyone. There may be a wild exception to the rule like an allergy or something but I am not so sure I believe that these things are not manifested and cannot be overcome. The meeting of an eight to twelve hundred pound animal who is more frightened of the predatory human, with our ears pinned back and our eyes set close together in a constant vertical or attack posture to commune with a prey animal to the point of sitting on its back without it shaking us free? Wow!
