To be the preeminent nonprofit organization in Arizona instrumental in assisting in meeting the needs of Myasthenic's, their families and supporters and assisting in discovering the cure for Myasthenia Gravis and related disorders thereby; improving the quality of life for those so afflicted.
Description
The Jim L. Walker, AZ Chapter of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation has been in existence in Phoenix for over 27 years. We are a non-profit 501 C 3 that is affiliated and an active chapter of The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, Inc. located in Chicago. Our Foundation works hard to provide support, service and education to residents in Arizona and their families that are victimized by this very debilitating disease. We provide over 5 active support groups in Arizona along witb education to medical professionals who come in contact with our patients.
