Mission Statement

The Mission of the Earth and Space Expedition Center is to inspire, excite and educate people of all ages about the mysteries and wonders of space, science and the universe in which we live...

Description

The Earth and Space Expedition Center provides an exciting space-based learning environment where schoolchildren, families, senior citizens, corporate teams and others experience a full dome planetarium show, explore the universe with a Deep Space Gallery than brings the images from high-powered telescopes within sight.

Activities led by the Earth and Space Expedition Flight Directors, seamlessly integrate the concepts of teamwork, communications and leadership, along with math, science and technology skills, to help participants work together to overcome obstacles and emergencies.

Equal to educational workshops and other activities designed for students and their teachers, the Earth and Space Expedition Center is a community resource center -- also features numerous public programming opportunities including stargazing, an indoor planetarium, space camps, lectures, telescope classes, space storytelling and more, to enable families, youth groups, Scout troops, community members, corporate teams, senior citizens and others to experience the facility and all that it has to offer.

I would recommend The Challenger Memorial because I believe that space travel is important to our survival here on Earth. Our children and their grandchildren will see the profit gained from space research and travel that we endevour to do today.
