Join the CSA Team as a Delivery Champion (Gas Stipend provided) and Cultivate Change with Farms To Grow, Inc.! At Farms To Grow, Inc., our CSA Program is a celebration of healthy produce and the legacy of Black farmers. The CSA happens every 2nd Saturday, during which pre-registered subscribers receive a bag of fresh produce grown by Black farmers around California. Subscribers look forward to their Farms To Grow CSA bags as a highlight of their week, and we are seeking similarly enthusiastic volunteers to make this experience exceptional. Volunteer Opportunity: CSA Delivery Champions As a vital part of the growing CSA Team, your role will be: Delivery Champions: Become a driver for contactless produce delivery to subscribers at designated drop-off locations. We're looking for dedicated individuals to join Farms To Grow's vibrant CSA community. Why Join the CSA Team as a Delivery Champion? Community Impact: Contribute to food justice in the Bay Area by directly improving Black farmers' access to urban food markets. Howdy! Join Farms to Grow, Inc for a "Farm Field Day" outdoor rural farm experience on Wednesday mornings 7:30 am - 11:30 am. If you are looking for a way to make an impact, learn farming traditions from an elder, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. Guinda, CA is close to Esparto, Woodland and an hour from Davis, CA. Put on your hat, enclosed shoes and garden gloves for a day of weeding, planting and harvesting fruits and vegetables. We enforce social distance, wearing a mask and gloves. Let's play in the dirt! Elaine FARMS TO GROW, INC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to working with Black farmers and underserved sustainable farmers around the country. Our aim is to increase the capacity of underserved farmers to keep their farm operations and establish farming as a viable career for future generations. Underserved farmers may include Native American, Hispanic, other minority groups, women, the physically challenged and limited access organic farmers.

If you are looking for a way to make an impact and learn farming traditions from an elder, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. You will be assisting an experienced farmer who recently secured a large contract for his produce, after years of facing numerous obstacles and discrimination. This is a unique opportunity to learn and support an incredibly deserving and knowledgeable farmer. If you are skilled in carpentry, mechanics or electrician we can sure use you help!
