Mission Statement

Safe Landings connects caring volunteers to people with limited resources during their medical recovery period -- new moms with special challenges to seniors who need a helping hand in regaining and maintaining their independence -- in order to optimize the rehabilitation process.

Description

Safe Landings is a non-denominational, non-profit, free community service funded in part through Bon Secours Mission Services and the United Way to enhance the medical recovery period of people of all ages whose current needs have surpassed their resources.

Safe Landings offers a uniquely flexible and rewarding opportunity to help people in your community as they recover at home. No special skills or education are needed - only the ability and desire to offer practical and emotional support for a few hours each week/month to people during a time of need.
