Would you recommend Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation?
This organization is part of the "no more homeless pets movement by working with this challenge on several levels.
First they attack the problem at its roots by working with pet owners to change problem dog behavior to good dog behavior, reducing the key reason canines are abandoned to rescues for someone else to fix or euthanize.
Next they work with children and education to prevent probelms in the first place.
Spay and Neuter is a high priority, one of their most outstanding programs is working with cultures who are resistant or not understanding of this priority, most recently hispanci and native american populations.
They use the donations to their foundation to assist progressive non-profit canine rescues with educational tools which help them rehabilitate abandoned dogs, and rehome them faster. More importantly, these educational knowledge and skills can be given to volunteers to help them prepare these dogs for their new forever homes safely and effectively.
