Description

The Foundation works in partnership with physicians in the United States, providing the resources necessary to make this surgery an option for women who would not otherwise have access to breast reconstruction. The AiRS Foundation is an amazing organization that helps breast cancer survivors and "previvors" feel whole again through breast reconstruction. AiRS addresses the often overlooked emotional recovery from breast cancer. AiRS partners with physicians all over the country to make breast reconstruction affordable, making every dollar donated to AiRS go much further. I am a survivor and have been affiliated with AiRS for over six years. I would highly recommend the AiRS Foundation to anyone needing resources for breast reconstruction. AiRS truly cares about its clients and works tirelessly to advocate, educate and support women enduring either a breast cancer diagnosis or the diagnosis of a breast cancer genetic mutation such as BRCA. There are many survivors of breast cancer who are not able to afford breast reconstruction and are left with a loss of self-esteem and often times depression. The AiRS Foundation helps women restore their self-esteem and ultimately, their lives.
