Mission Statement
To bring localized reading of news and items of interest to our listening community on Cape Cod, the Islands, and Southeastern Massachusetts. The Audible Local Ledger is dedicated to enabling these persons to live their lives with the greatest possible personal independence.
Description
Is an affiliate of a state-wide Massachusetts Radio Reading Service. Our parent company, Talking Information Center (TIC) is located in Marshfield, Massachusetts. This information network provides the reading of daily newspapers, current periodicals, shopping guides, best selling books, calendars of community events, and other material previously available only in print. ALL broadcasts this material over closed-circuit radios, streaming audio, cable television audio channels, and on secondary audio program (SAP) channels of television stations to the blind and print-impaired residents of Cape Cod, the Islands, and Southeastern Massachusetts Region.

It's very easy to learn the broadcasting equipment. The schedule is flexible and can be adapted to meet your schedule - even if you work full time like I do.
