Description
Residential Living Skills Training: Residents live in one of five group homes where they receive training in practical living skills through a progressive, systematic program. A 24-hour staff carefully supervises the residents in each home, with an average staff to resident ratio of 1 to 5.
Independent Living Program: Adults who demonstrate an ability to function successfully without supervision in their day-to-day routine are helped by a Kainos staff member who makes regular visits to assess their progress, to fine-tune living skills and to offer help and support.
Vocational Training: A variety of vocational training programs helps participants select an appropriate area of interest.
Supported Employment: This program provides job readiness training, placement, on-the-job training and weekly follow-up visits.
