to offer Healthier Living workshops, a 6 week (2.5 hours per week) workshop, developed by Stanford University School of Medicine, throughout San Francisco neighborhoods in multiple languages. Workshop's goal is to show adults with chronic conditions how to self manage their health.

Description

A San Francisco Coalition beginning with the Dept. of Aging and Adult Services offers this interactive participatgory small group workshop which show participants how to manage their pain, stress, fatigue, be more fit and eat healthier, communicate more effectively with their doctors and family, set goals and problem solve to make positive change, recognize the importance of preventing falls and getting better sleep, and in general, feel better about taking care of their health.
