Description
We are a small 501c3 nonprofit organization the was founded in May of 2014. AHRE rescues horses that are on feedlots waiting to ship to slaughter, and horses at auctions that are bid on but kill buyers. The last couple years we have focused on owner surrenders of horses in great need. With last year accepting Stallions, which are at the greatest risk. We have saved 6 Stallions from a certain horrific fate. To date we have saved over 300 horses and adopted most of them into loving homes.
We look forward to launching our youth mentoring program that will allow youth to be involved with horses, where otherwise they would not have the opportunity.
