PediPlace is a registered location for the national Reach Out and Read program. This program provides children 6 months - five years-old with a new book each time they come for a well-child exam. In addition, every child who comes to PediPlace- regardless of age- receives a book(s) of their choice. Volunteers are needed to donate or organize groups to provide new children's books- age birth through teen-to PediPlace. As the largest pediatric medical provider for uninsured and underinsured children in southern Denton County, PediPlace beleives that educating parents about proper medical care for children is essential. Be part of our parent education effort by providing items used in gift bags and education of new parents. Infant diapers, baby wipes, baby rattles, thermometers, board books, nail clippers, baby socks are needed. Individual items or sets are welcome. Up to 500 bags are needed annually. Great opportunity for families, children, and groups. The mission of PediPlace is to provide high quality health care for children in Denton County who have no access to such services due to economic, geographic, and or cultural barriers.

This not-for profit medical clinic provides a broad scope of health services with a highly competant and bilingual staff of medical professionals, and trained office staff. Here at our clinic, children are given what they may not have been eligible for through other traditional means..... a chance at a healthy life.
