Global Paint for Charity is on the lookout for a dynamic PR and Marketing volunteer to lend a hand with both internal and external marketing efforts, along with various tasks and projects. Description of Volunteer Opportunity: Many of the tasks can be accomplished remotely from home! Possible responsibilities include: Crafting press releases, media advisories, and articles for both internal and external publications Engaging with the media leading up to and during events Assisting with surveys Coordinating speaking engagements, appearances, photoshoots, and other special events Working a minimum of 8-16 hours per week Developing a public relations plan Creating effective PSAs Devising a marketing strategy to boost organization awareness in the community Soliciting major donations Crafting an annual report Managing marketing efforts, content, and relationships with donors, volunteers, customers, and vendors Key Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Exceptional organizational and project management skills Basic bookkeeping proficiency Ability to maintain focus Commitment to doing things right Ability to stay calm under pressure Willingness to learn and grow Service-oriented mindset Track record of success Tech-savvy Global Paint offers these opportunities for retired professionals or students from various universities and technical colleges to explore career paths within the nonprofit sector. In addition, we seek those interested in actively supporting our mission as we expand programs and organizational capacity. Both options are volunteering positions, meaning participation and a commitment to contribution are expected. This is a voluntary, uncompensated position with the opportunity to significantly reduce paint waste, protect the environment, and provide paint to underserved communities worldwide. We welcome highly qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds across the globe. Again, this is a volunteer position to become an advisory board member, offering a reasonable portion of time to the mission of Global Paint for Charity to fulfill the position's requirements, including routine meetings and responsiveness to the public.
