The mission of Summit Academy OIC is to help individuals develop their ability to earn and to become contributing citizens in their community. We support the development of self-sufficiency in every person, regardless of background, economic status or level of ability, and to strengthen the community by preparing individuals to assume their roles as workers, parents and citizens.
Description
Summit Academy OIC is a non-profit vocational training and educational center in North Minneapolis with over 50 years' experience helping Twin Cities' adults and youth in economically depressed neighborhoods acquire the tools they need to become educated, employed and self-supporting.

Working with the students is so rewarding! Students really want to learn and be in school. Summit is definitely helping the community.
