Role Description: Volunteers group together to facilitate games, music, crafts, holiday events, karaoke, and more for patient facilities! Our main branch resides in the Dallas area, but we also have branches that cover the Waxahachie and Sherman area. Volunteer opportunities available in Dallas, Waxahachie, and Sherman. - Three Oaks Hospice, formally known as Total Hospice and Palliative Care, supports patients and their families with compassion, care, and dignity. We believe in providing outstanding service and look to volunteers to help support our efforts. Volunteers help support patients, families, and clinical staff with a wide variety of tasks as it relates to the hospice mission and philosophy. A group of volunteers will go to an assisted living facility/group home for the morning/afternoon and help facilitate a pre-determined activity with the patients. Different shifts will be available, with each group being led by one of the lead volunteers. Locations: Group homes, assisted living facilities.We would love to have you be a part of our team, and we will provide the required orientation and training! If you’re looking to make a difference, TOH is where you belong! We require all volunteers to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to volunteering; otherwise, they will be regularly tested for COVID-19.
