Volunteers Make a Difference!! If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer. Our volunteers are an important part of our hospice care team, helping to improve the quality of life for our patients, their families and their caregivers. Please consider becoming a part of our team as a volunteer performing direct care patient visits! This would include potentially visiting our patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. Some examples of what the direct care patient visits my consist of include: offering companionship, playing cards, chess or board games, or simply reminiscing or having a friendly conversation.
